RMHC Augusta has been a "home away from home" for families seeking medical treatment for their sick or injured child for over 32 years. We have helped over 18,000 families, since we opened our doors in 1984.
In 2015, we served 1,076 families.
It's easy to give to RMHC Augusta! You can donate online, drop your spare change in a donation box at McDonald's, donate goods or services, or volunteer your time.
Friends Of The House
Alpha Delta Pi Sorority
Alpha Delta Pi collegians and alumnae, as well as friends and family of members of Alpha Delta Pi, show their philanthropic spirit in many ways. Chapters, alumnae associates and outstanding volunteers are continuously recognized for their philanthropic achievements. We are blessed to be the beneficiary of their philanthropic work. The Zeta Zeta Chapter at Augusta State University prepares meals, volunteers at events like the Plane Pull and create fun treats for the kids of the House.
High Rollers Motorcycle Club
The High Rollers Motorcycle Group has been supporting the RMHC of Augusta Since the winter of 2014. With their help we were able to move our heavy items such as fridges and washing machines, from the Old House on Greene Street to our new Location on Harper. Definitely not the most fun way to help, but the High Rollers were there to get the job done! The High Rollers continued to support us after, helping with decorations for Christmas and other group projects. They currently provide a meal every month to the families at the RMHC. We are truly grateful for their continued support and positive impact they have on helping the families maintain a Home Away from Home.
RMHC Augusta University Club
William Cole Skinner and Chrissy Callaway took it upon themselves to create the RMHC Augusta University Club. The Club was officially registered this past November 2015 and is open to all Augusta University students. The President of the Club is William Cole Skinner (left in the photo above). The club has served the Ronald McDonald House numerous time since they first were officalized including decorating for Christmas, Share-A-Night Event, Over the Edge Event, Wine Women & Shoes Event and Plane Pull Event. They also are currently in the process of having a Pop Top Drive for the House.
We Could not begin to expressed the gratitude we have for everyone involved in the RMHC Augusta University Club. We are forever grateful for efforts to reach out to help and response when called upon.
